I decided one Thursday after work to take the train down to the Harbour and check out the Sydney Writer's Festival cos MATTHEW REILLY was going to be there. SQUEEE!! The man who created Shane Schofield is surely a genius, right? That guy was shot in the neck, fell off a hundred foot cliff and never lost his sunglasses! How is this possible, Matthew Reilly? He fell into a pool filled with killer whales! HOW, I ASK YOU?
With this question buring in my mind I had to go and get a look at this genius. He also wrote such great books as Temple, Contest and Area 7, as well as shit books like Scarecrow (seriously Matthew, what were you thinking? Killing off your one and only female character? And don't say that Mother's female. Everyone knows she's a tranny. Joking Matthew! Her titanium leg only adds to her femininity!) and probably Hovercar Racer. But all his other books are great!
